Some of the staff from Advanced Billing and Consulting Services attended The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society’s Light the Night fundraising event on October 21st. The Light The Night Walks are a powerful and unique fundraising campaign organized by The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS). This event brings together families, corporations and communities in order to honor blood cancer survivors, as well as those we have lost to these diseases.
The campaign also shines a light on the importance of discovering cures and providing access to treatments for blood cancer patients. As a medical billing and healthcare consulting company located in the Columbus area, we were honored to attend this charity event.
The event was held in downtown Columbus at McFerson Commons. The event included a Remembrance Ceremony, Walk Kickoff, and a Survivor Parade. There were food and beverages provided by Skyline Chili and Massey’s Pizza. The weather was great and a good time was had by all. ABCS RCM was able to contribute $980 to The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society’s cause.
